Reading uses Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life, and Read an Academic Passage tasks. It measures understanding of vocabulary, meaning, main ideas, details, and implied information in daily and academic contexts.
Listening includes choosing an appropriate response, conversations, announcements, and academic talks. The section tests meaning, purpose, details, organization, speaker intent, and inference.
Writing includes Build a Sentence, Write an Email, and Write for an Academic Discussion. Speaking includes Listen and Repeat and Take an Interview.
Yes. Reading and Listening use a multistage adaptive design, so exact time and item counts may vary. English Rhino’s focused Practice Mode remains separate from a complete timed test.
The curated Free tier never uses Tokens. Additional question-bank packs can be unlocked permanently with Tokens or a card, while evaluations and generated study tools use their separately displayed Token prices.
